I am looking for a good source of parts for my projects. I am looking especially for 2N7001 transistors for a timing circuit I am building. I have looked for equivalents but have not had any luck. A million RFQ's but few buy online.

Any reason you can't use 2N7000's instead? Mouser has them by the zillion.

You really shouldn't have too much problems, we in the United States have a large selection of online retailers.

Are you asking for a list?

If you can deal with SOT-23 packages (small surface mount) and somewhat lower drain current, you can use 2N7002's, which are even more economical than the 2N7000's.
Mouser has 'em for as little as $0.04/ea when you buy 1.

If you just need a few small parts though, you may be better off with DigiKey. DigiKey will ship SMALL orders 1st Class USPS mail; Mouser won't.

It would be silly to save $2 on the parts, and spend an extra $8 on shipping.
