glcd using port expander

    hello everyone,

    i want to interface GLCD with pic16f1527 using port expander.
    i need help to get data on lcd . can you help me as soon as possible..?

    Many LCD can be configured with 4 bit data instead of 8 to save on I/O.

    You picked a PIC with 53 output pins and you still don't have enough room for the GLCD?

    Back when I was using GLCD's there was a dearth of example code, so I rolled my own. Today you can find ready to use libraries for this., especially for the popular 128x64 size. You could adapt such a library by digging dows tro the low level code that twiddles the I/O lines (think driver code) and shoe horn in the expander code.

    I believe you missed the "G".
