    Hi,
I've made up a BG MIcro Geophone kit. I also want to add sound to it with one of those little kit buzzer speakers.
I've tried around the board but I'm failing to find a location I can connect it to so when the LED's light up the buzzer can sound.
Can someone please help and have a look at it here http://www.bgmicro.com/pdf/kit1019.pdf

and advise me of a good spot for it?

How do you want the sound to work? Should it turn on at a certain level or should it change as the level increases?

I would happy for it to to make a sound when it lights up the first LED.

How about a circuit like the one I attached.

I don't know how much current your buzzer requires. You may have to reduce R1's value to get Q1 to turn on all the way (<0.5 V across its collector and emitter).

Q1 has a maximum collector current of 600 mA but I would not use it for more than 400 or 500 mA.

    Thanks Antonv.
The little buzzer says 12v but makes noise with 1 AAA of 1.5v
