Generators in paralell

    Dear Sirs, can you help me with this?

    Two 3-phase generators working in parallel.
    The total load of the two is 1000 KVA at cos phi 0.9.
    One has a load of 600KVA at cos phi 0707
    a) Calculate the second generator active reactive and apparent power.
    b) Calculate the second generator power factor.

    I dont know how to attack the problem without the current or the voltage for the system.

    You don't need current or voltage. You simply resolve the apparent powers into their respective real and reactive components. The respective real & reactive powers supplied by the second generator can then be resolved by considering the deficit left by the contribution of the first generator.
