is it anything like if a random variable is under the influence of a gaussian distribution then the resulting random variable follows gaussian distribution..??

Repeatedly adding two random numbers will give a gaussian distriution.
Take for example the rolling of two dice.

thankyou very much sir my query was in accordance with the recieved signal that was propagated within a channel characterised with gaussian noise..and the resulting nature of distribution that this received signal would follow..!!
I was actually very confused with the concepts of Matched Filters..!!
