gahh help please resistor

    Looks like it mite be a power supply.
    Did the Zener blow up or was it dropped?
    You mite still be able to get a number off it if you remove it from the board.

    Right. You're going to have to use a magnifying glass to read the numbers on the glass.

    The broken zener and the good zener will not necessarily have the same part number.

    the resistor which has failed oc in the first picture died due to to a power supply blow up-which means in order to do a reliable safe repair the relevant power supply repair kit needs to be ordered and fitted.there is no shortcuts-if you just fit the parts that have failed you can see you will be wasting your time.....model number and make of set required.....
