I am trying to write wavelet program in Maltab following the equation
\(_{}X(t)p,q\) = \(\int x(t)\)* \(\Psi_{}p,q\)dt
where
\(\Psi_{}p,q\) = (p^0.5)*\(\Psi\)((t-p)/q) where p>0
\(\Psi (t)\) is any mother wavelet function . i am using gabor.
what i am having problem is the range for p and q where P is the transtion and q is the dialation.
how will i know the range is the signal is unknown and known ..
