Hi guys I am having trouble simulating a full wave rectifier, i just get a dc signal at the output of 8 volts and in the middle there should be a half wave rectifier present, but I just get a smaller amplitude of the input, a sinusoid. Can someone please tell me whats wrong with it, i can't see it.
You did not follow the directions you were provided. Do you know what the circled symbol is in the below diagram?

Hi Joe, yes I do know what it is, but changing that resistor up and down makes no difference, I get a DC signal of 8 volts no matter what.

Thanks for your reply, anything else you can see?

Funny, when I adjusted the potentiometer to 25% (7.5 k as seen by the second opamp) the output was, as described, in your directions.

Upon further review of your schematic, you made a serious error ...

Can you tell me the potential between the negative supply terminal of the uA741s and ground?

Measure it .... and then look at what potential you set for that terminal.

See below ...
