hey guys i need help with making a frequency counter circuit using a microcontroller and an lcd display dat shows corresponding frequency of a square wave upto 100mhz......source code will also b required to burn hex files on uController...thank u

 

So just what are you asking for? Both a schematic and source code?

 

Should be pretty easy since you only need it to work up to 100mHz. You'll have a minimum of 10 seconds per cycle of the square wave to do computations.

Now, if you meant 100MHz, then you have a more challenging task.

You might start using proper care with your units.

Yes, considering that 100MHz is likely faster than the crystal frequency for the microprocessor.

actually i need both schematic as well as source code....and the counter shoud measure upto 100MHz
