OK, so I am cheap. I got so many of those free LED flashlights from Harbor Tools, I decided to see what else could be done with them. Here's the battery holder that I removed from one, cut the little plastic button off the contact, turned up the tab with the hole in it, and hot glued the contact back down. Then, I repeated the process on the other end. Now, I have a holder for three AAA cells in series with solder tabs...perfect for those PICAXE and other projects.
