Originally a robot repair shop in the city of Pittsburgh, the shop has been re-opened in the Pittsburgh Airport. Mostly deal in vintage equipment.

    Very, very interesting....

Ok, it is an artistic display but it was a part of downtown Pittsburgh for a long time and nice to see that it found a new home at the Pittsburgh Airport. It was closed the day I was there, hopefully it will be open when you stop by.

I've never wanted to go to the steel city - until now. I'll have to let my Pittsburgh buddies know about this!

Is it in the landside or airside?

Unfortunately, it is in the airside. Near the Delta/Southwest gates (Terminal A).

It is not huge and you can only view the "storefront", (I don't think it is ever "open"). I have not scene the desplay when it was downtown.

Sad that it is airside for more than one reason. It means there is available space that could otherwise be used by an airline. Same as all the popup art places in storefronts all over the city.

Your last photo has a Norman Rockwell feel to it. ;)
