I'm looking for help finding the Fourier Transform for the function cos(2\(\pi\)x) + cos(8\(\pi\)x)
This is meant to be a simple exercise to introduce Fourier transforms usage in image processing, however I have never seen a Fourier transform before so I thought seeing an example might help. This is not suppose to result in complex integrals but merely encourage the use of simple properties of transforms to solve.
