formula for acceleration

hi,
im sorry i got the wrong formula for acceleration
it should be
a=(Vf-Vo)/t
a= acecleration
Vf-final velocity
Vo=initial velocity
t=time

May I suggest that 1) you keep related posts in the same thread, as it is easier to follow; and 2) ask a question or respond to previous questions from those who responded. We are trying to help you. As I indicated in my earlier response, one way to keep from getting confused by simply memorizing various formulas is to analyze the units. What are the units for acceleration? What units will you get, if you use the equation you just posted?
