    I have built this simple FM transmitter.

    http://www.uoguelph.ca/~antoon/circ/fmt1.htm

    I have attached a picture, sorry it isn't the best picture

    [attachmentid=1426]

    Is there any other way I can test this without trying to find the transmission on my radio?

    Thanks

    You can use a frequency counter or an oscilloscope, but an FM radio next to the circuit is the first thing to try.

    Thanks for the reply n9xv

    I am using copper wire I got from Lowe's. I am pretty sure it is not magnet wire.
    Will this work without magnet wire?

    Also, if I were using magnet wire how do I know what frequency signal I am sending so I know what station to try?

    Thanks
