FM radio with unknown capacitance

    An RLC circuit is used in a radio to tune into an FM braodcasting station at 99.7 MHz. the resistance in the circuit is 12.0 ohms, and the inductance is 1.40 micro henrys. what capacitance should be used.

    Hi,

    You need to work it out for a tank circuit, where the reactance of the coil and the reactance of the capacitor are equal.
