Hello everyone i have a big interest in FM transmitters and i am learning how to design them,
the idea is if i designed a circuit and simulate it on multisim (the software witch i am using) or any software and i saw in its output the frequency which i have calculated ,how to ensure that the signal (for example 10 KHz) is modulated with the carrier signal (80 MHz) is there anyway a tool to analyse this signal in multisim or pspice ,cause in AM modulation its easy cause you sea the signal amplitude is changing relatively with input but in FM modulation its hard to discover the low 10 KHz with 80 MHz
i have used spectrum analysis but it doesn't help me , any ideas ??

You could simulate one of the FM detectors listed here to detect the FM modulation.

If your simulator has an FFT tool you should be able to apply to observe a typical FM spectrum.
