Fluorescent electronic ballast

    I have a 6 W fluorescent tube and want a fluorescent electronic ballast circuit. Please suggest a low cost one without coils.

    What supply voltage? If mains voltage, cheapest is probably to cannibalise a CFL.

    MAXIM usually make these types of IC 's or semis for this application, together with typical design sheets.

    Thanks for reply you guys. Main power supply is 220v AC.

    The circuit above drives the lamp with DC. That shorten its life :(.
