floating and grounding inputs

    what are the differences between floating and grounding inputs?

    A floating input is just that..... It is free to float to any level and is subject to noise, stray capacitive coupled signals, etc. A Grounded input is just that...... It is held at a solid ground potential or logic 0. Pretty self explaining, isn't it.
