I have been using Firefox for several years. Suddenly, I am getting continuous popups about non-responsive scripts on many web sites including AAC. I uninstalled and reinstalled FF - no help. Now, I have switched to Chrome...no more problems.

Anyone else having this issue with Firefox?

I am using the latest Firefox (47.0) here. Use it on Windows, Linux and Android. No problems with AAC or any other site I visit.
Use UBlock Origin add-on. Block Flash.

No problems here. Vista with FF and Ad-block-Plus.

I also sometimes get the "script may be busy" popups. Especially after reading a PDF. Don't think Tracecom was talking about advertising popups, but computer warning popups. Win10 and FF.

Firefox is basically SLOW! I've been doing some browsing with Vivaldi.

www.wunderground.com is a slow site for me doing the graph weather and I get that error with Firefox.

This all started for me on a FF "upgrade" a few months ago. The upgrade wiped out all my book marks and the PDF reader at that time. After reloading Foxit reader and Adobe it has been doing the popup thing. This was all on Win8.1, but it continued after Win10 was loaded.

I went back to FF 47.0 today, and thus far am having no problems. I don't know what was going on.

Perhaps your OS or some app was doing some updating in the background.
