    Hello,

I have a circuit below with standard yellow LED, transformer, Resistor and Diode. Please help me to find the correct value of resistor and Diode.
    Please see a drawing.

    Thanks

    Ken

You are over complicating this a bit, basically you have a simple transformer feeding the diode circuit. Figure the RMS value and plug in the numbers for 20ma. Less current is better, since your peak current surge is significant. Personally I would have put the conventional diode is parallel instead of series with the LED, but that is a matter of taste.
