Finding small signal gain in Pspice.

Hello.

I'm trying to find the gain of an CE current amplifier.
I did the following and I was hoping you could help me understand where this error comes from.
Thank you.

PS.
I also tried filling 'I(RL)' in the 'To Output Variable' field, but received the same error.

The current meter I2 is shorting the base to ground.
Your transistor does not have a collector load resistor in series with its collector to the positive power supply.
Your transistor is saturated with a base current that is only 18% of its collector current.
The 1k load resistor is missing a capacitor coupling the transistor's signal to it.

his collector load is a constant current source (infinite ac impedance).

the biasing is done via another current source.

v2/v3 are not needed but they do no harm either.

you don't have to have a capacitor to the load.

the issue here is that orcad does not do current dc gain. it is voltage only.

Oh I see, I guess it doesnt calculate transconductance neither (tried it out also and received the same error).
