I am working on a power supply of ultrasonic frequency generator.
For supplying current to Mosfet I am using step up transformer (220v step-up to 500v @ 2amp). What would be the capacitor value for filtering the ripples out of bridge. I am having two big size capacitors of 10,000 microfarad (250V) each and intended to use in series; will it work…
Thanks in advance for any help/suggestion.

Depends on the peak current of the bridge. You could end up blowing the bridge.
Don't operate a component at 500V if it is rated at 500V.
Choose lower sized capacitors wired in parallel but rated at 750V.
