Hello,
Please can someone assist me with making a low power Transformer from a standard Ferrite core from a Television Flyback Transformer?
I have wound the primary with larger gauge wire, and secondary with 25 gauge enameld wire Checked for shorts,and all appears fine.
It liberates 250 volts from a high frequency AC source which fluctuates and drops to about 2volts in a relatively short time.
Is this core saturation?

What do you mean with high frequency ?
Is it several kHz or higher ?
