ferrite coil help

    i need help in locating a ferrite coil in the 84.2 khz range, i'm building a duplicate receiver antenna for a utilities locator

    You need to choose a ferrite type and size and then calculate the number of wraps of wire needed to get the inductance value you are looking for. It's like buying a DVD. You choose what type of movie you like and look through that section for the specific one you want. For a specific freq, you will have to 'roll your own' so to speak.
