    What are the advantages and disadvnages of having a 1 output drive 50 inputs fanout. Thanks in advance

    Firstly, what do you think so far? Homework help looks at your work and suggests where you might have gotten something wrong or clarified a point you may have missed. We can't do that without seeing what you have done so far. Homework help is not "homework done for you". Have you read this link about posting questions in the Homework Help section?

    In answering, include what are the devices? Fanout depends on the type of device used.

    And what is the application? Asking for the advantages/disadvantages of a fanout of 50 is like asking about the advantages of a car that can go 200 mph. It depends on where it is going to be used.

    It is not a matter of advantages and disadvantages. It is a question of can it do so reliably?

    Look at the datasheet of the logic device and determine the fan-out capabilities of the gate. This requires you to do some basic Ohm's Law calculations.

    That depends. I've done designs where one logic output had to drive over a million logic inputs, so having to work with devices that had a fanout of 50 would have been nothing but a huge disadvantage. On the flip side, using a device that has a fanout of 50 when I only needed a fanout of 2 can also be a huge disadvantage.
