I have an external hard drive with important stuff in there...

I connected it to a friend's laptop to send some files...and it was taking for ever so I decided to disconnect it manually as the 'eject' was not even working as the machine froze...

Now back to my machine, it doesn't want to open nomore!
It say' you need to format the disk in drive F: before you can use it'

    But I CANNOT do that!

    Any help!?

    Thanks!

Remove it from the enclosure and driver, install it in a pc.

Could be a issue w/ the driver itself( the enclosure and adapter that holds the HDD)

If that's the case, a replacement is very cheap.
