Hi All,

I have just put together a D.C supply on a breadboard, tested & its doing all it should etc..
I have taken waveforms on my oscilloscope at different points of my circuit as seen in DOC attachment.

Im now asked to explain all waveforms? Im a bit stuck what to say here..

So far Ive got:

#1 Shows a D/c wave taken prior to my rectifier.
#2 Shows a dirty D/C wave taken without my Capacitor connected.
#3 Shows the charging & discharging of my capacitor.
#4 Shows the capacitor achieving full charge,

1. 60Hz 11.3Vrms AC sine wave
2. Rectified AC (11.3V 120Hz pulsed DC)
3. 9.2VDC with 120Hz 1Vpk-pk (10%) ripple
4. 15.5VDC regulated or after another filter stage?
*all voltages are approximate since you didn't use the cursors on the oscilloscope to obtain precise readings
