emitter bypass capacitor

    What kind of filter does it give, and what is the resistance values we consider to calculate it?

    Like any other RC filter its effect is calculated as 1 divided by pi times R times C.
    It creates a highpass filter. High frequencies have full gain and low frequencies and DC have a lower gain.

    Thanks for the reply. What resistance value do we actually use to calculate the capacitor value?
    For eg say from the below circuit

    My eyes must be real bad. That schematic doesn't have an Emitter bypass capacitor.

    I know.
    I want to add it, but i dont know what resistor value to use to calculate it.
    Btw lower cutoff frequency is 4oHz, and Upper cutoff is 1MHz.
