I am interested in learning how to go about doing a circuit analysis on the audio amp section of the Elenco AM-550KT transistor radio kit. The schematic is in the user's manual at http://www.tequipment.net/ElencoAM-550TK.html
The text in the user's manual describes in general terms how the audio amp section works but it doesn't give the specific details of how to analyze the circuit.
I have done quite a bit of reading about class ab amps, common emitter/collector/base circuits and feedback circuits but the text book always just give a basic circuit and applying the principles to this more complex circuit eludes me using standard KVL techniques. In particular, I know that beta needs to be "canceled out" since it quite variable but I haven't been able to do that.
Does anyone know of a text book or other reference that demonstrates how to perform a circuit analysis of this or a similar circuit?
Thanks in advance for any help provided.
