when electrons leave an atom during static electricity how are they replaced???
The atoms remain ionized (charged) until the source of electrons is restored. If the material in question is a perfect dielectric, it can remain charged forever. Most real-world materials, however will eventually "leak" back to their uncharged state.when electrons leave an atom during static electricity how are they replaced???
