Hi, I have a fairly old copy of Electronics Workbench that has served me well for some years now. I tried to install it on a new PC and it will not go. It is a version that that came on Stiffy's and a dongle. I tried to contact Electronics Workbench to help and/or buy a new one and was told that the company was bought out by NI and I must now use their product. Only problem is the (very) high cost of their product and of course the new learning curve. Any ideas?

EW5 was great, LOL. Now might be a good time to jump into LTSpice, which is free (look up on google). It has a little learning curve, but not too bad. I find the info you get from it is quite a bit more useful than from the old EW, once you get used to it.
