i have this part of equation in a CC amplifier ac analysis, Vx = -ie*re - (ie/(1+β))*(R1||R2)

I can't understand what is (ie/(1+β)) in this equation?

    Thanks alot

Can you provide a schematic of what you are trying to calculate?

i dont have a circuit simulator i was calculating the output resistance of a CC stage by connecting a testing supply to find the resistance

Where are R1 & R2? On the transistor's base? No load? no RE or RC...? Where is Vx, what is the biasing voltage? You should really post a schematic. Maybe use LTSpice?

    (Emitter_Current/(1+TransistorBeta_AKA_hFE))
