i am trying to build an electromagnetic lock with 1/2" x 1/8" Neodymium N45 magnets. here is a simple diagram for what i'm trying to do. i need any suggestions, input, or ideas related to this problem.

ya, i don't expect more energy that is put in. i know that's impossible. also, there's always going to be some amount of friction from a rotating device, so i know it won't run forever. i could just use a motor, but i really enjoy building things myself. i seem to understand how something works alot better if i build it rather than buy it.
