Hi all -
I bought a bunch of EL, panels about 2x3", no specs , just 80-120v ac. Any suggestions about how to power these little guys? I *could * just rune htem form the wall and switch them with relays - but something more elegant, but also cheap would be good. Are the inverters for CCFL work? These seem to be easier to find. And is there some (ie one chip) solution to switching them from logic. Must be an opto/triac in a box kind of thing I guess.
thanks!

This call for help seems to have slipped down the list with no nibble, so i'm posting again. Grateful for any good advice.

I should note that I've since learned that they want 200-400vAC at 200-300 hz. What is up with these little beasties that they are so variable? Where can I get 200-400vAC in that hz range? What kind of inverter does that?
thx
