Hello friends

Just thought I'd share this with you all.
For those of you who own Android phones, there's an amazing free app called ElectroDroid. Those of you who don't know it, should definitely download it

It has just about everything you can think of and probably some things you can't. Some of the features include:

Resistor/Inductor color codes, Oms law, reactance calculator, voltage dividers, capacitor charge, Op-Amp calculator, LM317 calculator (which was just what I needed at the time), power dissipation and much much more.

You should definitely check it out and like I said - it's free

Enjoy.

p.s. - If you know of any other useful Android apps, please post.

Thanks!

"Don't Leave Home Without"
This list covers a LOT of areas, but some of what is loaded on mine:

Launcher Pro
Google Sky
WiFi Analyzer
GPS Status & RMaps (best nav and general GPS tool)
c:Geo for geocaching
OS Monitor
RealCalc (RPN calc, can be standard calc too)
Droid48 - HP48 Emulator, very nice, but RealCalc does RPN with better interface
Sundroid - Moon Phase, sunrise, sunset, astronomical twilight, nautical twilight and civil twilight.
Subnet Mask & Subnet Calc (if you do much with TCP/IP Networks and routing)
That is so Random - Random Number generator
Periodic Table
Astro File Manger (for updates and hacks)
CPU Speed (if you have phone rooted)
GasBuddy - Cheapest Gas near your GPS location
Audio Manager - Widget that allows all volume controls to be in one widget
Scanner Buddy - Police scanner

Best for last:
Tricorder - Star Trek-ish, but gives spectrum analyzer for audio, magnetic sensors, solar info, gps info, and basically ALL sensors the phone can offer!

By the way, does anyone know of a free android calculator that is able to do native coplex number calculations in polar form? for example something like:

(3+2i)+(4+i)

Droid48 does this, if you have had an HP48 and can navigate the menus easily. It will also convert between rectangular and polar coordinates of imaginary numbers.

I figured it might be useful for somebody that just got one. I know I wished for a "complete list" of the decent apps right when I got it. Way too many available to try out.
