Is there any electromagnetic ON/OFF switches availble like relays.
I mean relays are to be in on state when the coil is magnetised.Likewise is there any electromagnetic ON/OFF switches available using solenoid or something......?

That is when input is given to the device,it must turn ON,and on another input it must switch OFF just like a relay except that the input to the coil toggles the switch state from ON to OFF and viceversa.

Yes, they are called "latching" or "bistable" relays. Some have a single coil and a cam arrangement so that one pulse turns it on and a second pulse turns it off while other types have twin coils so you pulse one coil to turn it on and then pulse the other coil to turn it off.

You can make a bistable relay simply by using a flip flop IC, but then you need a power supply, signal input conditioner, output driver and output relay, so maybe the bi-stable relay is a better choice. It depends upon the application and what resources are available.
