I work in a factory and they would like me to help set up machines for production use. Where can I find some resources on safety guidelines and regulations.

The 17th Edition has just been released in the UK - check the IET website.

This is the standard for all UK wiring in the UK and comes into (legal) force on 1st June 2008. Any wiring you do in the UK should conform to this standard.

Until 31st May 2008 16th Edition is still current and is available from most book stores.
