hi all!
wonder if you can help me, im making a model for my project. it is a deep vein thrombosis prevention aid. it works like a pedometer however if you do not move enough it gives an output (vibration) to alert you. it must run off a battery. have a movement sensor. count 10 moves then reset both counter and timer. a timer to count up to 20 mins (if this is reached before 10 moves are counter then the output is triggered)

any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi,

If you are interested in a model, and not an actual device, perhaps the format for the model could be specified?

 

as it is a model i have decided to simplify the idea to show the general idea.

therefore i now just need a simple timer circuit using a 555timer that after 3 minutes will sound a buzzer. however if the circuit is moved before the 3 mins has elapsed (ie using a tiltswitch or somother kind of movement sensor) the timer will reset and start again.
