Hello

I am purchasing eeprom. The specification mentioned on eeprom are
ST M27C1001 15F1 58S1N 0340L.
My question is, are the last two part i.e 58S1N 0340L necessary to be included, bcz online purchases usually mention M27C1001 15F1 only.

Thanks.

First off that part is obsolete so do not use it for new designs. (And good luck finding sources.)

Next, any question concerning the complete part number should be addressed in the manufacturer’s data sheet for that part.

In the data sheet copy I found online it looks like “M27C1001-15F1” would be a good and complete part number. I could not find the “58S1N 0340L” in that sheet.

Thanks @ErnieM
I am buying it to keep a back up of an old plc program (SAIA PCD4), in case eeprom get damage for any reason.
