Ebook on Android

    Here is something I thought was interesting, the ebook is in the Play Store... here
    I know some people were looking for an ebook format, perhaps this cana help.

    So, if you are running Android, there it is for your viewing pleasure....

    Interesting. I bet this is an unauthorized copy, but, oh, well...
    At least it' free.

    Well, under the DSL, they don't need to get authorization, right? I thought it was freely distributable, provided it is also released under the DSL...

    Does that mean we can request the source code, under the DSL?:)

    I 'm not extremely familiar with internet licenses myself, unfortunately.

    I know the kindle version cost money. I'm just hoping the author is the one getting the funds from those sales.

    It's not validation. It's damage control.

    Anyway, if someone was to after this guy for copyright infringement, I don't think that would be me. I don't think I have the necessary credentials.

    Still, I am totally uneducated on how licenses work. But lawyers don't try to educate the public, unlike other professions.

    Well, the only thing that would probably be against the DSL would be if he didn't supply the ebook in the format that it is hosted as.

    He is free to charge, but must retain DSL notice and the format the work was originally in.
