I need to design a dual-Rail DC Power Supply for my university work and don't have a clue i tried working it out and surfing the web but no luck.

I have to use 2 diodes, 2 Zener Diodes, 2 Resistors and 2 Capacitors (1micro farad).

Does anyone know? i would appreciate it so much if someone could help!

You won't get much of a power supply with 1 microfarad capacitors

Presumably these other components have values and you know what the components do?

 

the values dnt really matter i just need to know how to design it?????

 

So do you know what a Zener Diode is, and how to connect it into a circuit?

Why don't you post schematics of your attempts, or at least what you've come up with thus far.

Are you getting your input power from a transformer that has a center-tapped secondary winding?
