I am trying to derive a signal in time domain to DTFT.

Do I have any mistake in my derivation (attached) because I cannot agree with the answer.

I feel some error in first step. no Fourier transform is defined for alpha greater than 1.

thats what I first thought .. but then I was in doubt when I had to change the limits (signs) and alpha goes to the denominator to become 'absolutely summable' I guess. thanks
