Hi. I am new on this forum.

I have one 3PH 75Kva dry type transformer rated for 480 volts delta primary and 120/208 volts Y sec.

My question is; Can I reconnect this transformer to be used as a single phase transformer connected at 480V pri. to 120/240 single phase? The third transformer on the core will be disconnected and the capacity will be reduced to 50kVA.

I will appreciate any comment.

Regards.

Dry types typically present you with H and X terminals only. Given that, I can't see how you could come up with 240v on a 208v secondary.
