hello everyone,

I am doing a project in making a Biped walking robot.I have 6 servomotor for various joints..I have problem in power supply for the servomotors.can you suggest a driver cicuit for the 6 servos..

any help will be greatly appreciated..

You can make a driver for a single servo out of an LM555 timer chip; do a search on <servo +555> if you're interested in that.

The real problem, though, is that you're going to need to coordinate the motion of 6 servos. What's your plan for doing that? It's possible to program a microcontroller to do the job, but obviously, you have to know how.

 

servo drives can be very sophisticated, or simple voltage followers. Maybe you can describe what characteristics you desire.
