    Folks,

I’ve finished a layout in OrCAD 9.2 Layout Plus, and I want to run DRC on it. It’s a simple board with only 45 nets, but I’m getting few hundred DRC errors. I guess, I’m getting these errors, because I haven’t set up the rules and parameters correctly.

Would somebody be so kind and give a link to (or upload) a tutorial for OrCAD Layout DRC ?

Some of my particular question about DRC:
    - Can I get a text report with warnings and errors?
    - How can I change the DRC parameters such as trace and gap widths?
    - How can I change severity levels – whether a certain type of discrepancy generates an error or a warning?

I’ve checked the tutorial in the Help menu, but there’s very little information about DRC.

    Thanks,
    Nick

Something's wrong with your setup . Usually , you can go to Layout help on help menu ( or hit F1 ) .

I would check the loading files first . Template , strategy ... . Try to load it with default .

Read the errors and try to figure out from which part of layout that causes it happen . Good luck .

ps : my trick is sometime I go back to the board that I designed before ( without errors ) and compare it with the new one .
