Good evening,
I have a basic doubt about Spectrum analysis of digital signals in base band. The question is: I have a sign made up of a square wave and pulses in time domain given by the expression y(t) = p(t) * x(t). When is the power spectral density of signal y(t) is given by each of these expressions?
1. Sy(f) = |Y(f)| ^ 2
2. Sy(f) = |P(f)| ^ 2 Sx(f)
Thanks for the help

Subtitle:
Y(f) - Fourier transform of signal y(t)
P(f) - Fourier transform of the signal p(t)
Sx(f) - Spectral density power of the signal x(t)
