I'm currently researching idea's for a Doppler radar system operating around 10Ghz.
The following is a brief description of the criteria needing to be met:
Description:
There is a requirement for a low power radar system that is capable of accurately measuring the velocity of moving objects within a 10m radius of the device. The initial application for the device is to measure and record the velocities of pedestrians. The minimum operational specifications are:
1. Device must provide a clearly visible read-out of instantaneous velocity
2. Velocity is to be displayed in either mph or kmh (selectable by user)
3. Device must be capable of displaying and holding the peak velocity of an object
4. Device is to be capable of working as a stand-alone unit and via an external computer
5. Device is to be able to store historical velocity data in a computer1. Device must provide a clearly visible read-out of instantaneous velocity
