Don't use Xilinx Isim

    Simulations I've been running in Isim that were taking 2-3 hours in v13.4 are now taking 8-10 hours in 14.4. I switched over to Canence NCSim, and now I run the same simulations in 15-20 minutes.

    Webpack license slows down isim.

    Also, isim is free... ncsim is not.

    Only isim lite is free. I use isim full version, which reqires a purchased license.

    Although, I still use isim for small, local simulatoins just so I don't have to keep copies of compiled Xilinx libraries for each one. If anyone knows how I can complie the libs in one place and link to all my simulations, please share. I suspect I'll have to hand edit the cds.lib and hdl.var files.
