May i know if dc offset affects the slew rate of an op amp? and how does it goes about affecting it.

Based on not knowing which op amp or how much offset, the answer is, "no".

Slew rate is determined by current available and capacitance present in the chip. Most of the circuits are constant current supplied and the capacitors are not variable.
Dv/Dt (slew rate)= I/C
If current is constant and capacitance is stable, slew rate is constant.
