I have an old PIC 16C55-RC/P005 controller chip that I would like to make a duplicate of as I wish to rebuild a circuit that it currently resides in. I am willing to send the complete circuit board (or chip on its own) as well as a new/blank PIC 16C55-RC chip to be programmed.

Why do you need a PicStart Plus to do that?

What are other options/alternatives? (I apologize as I am not very experienced with the process programming chips/ Eproms etc., The PicStart Plus was something I came across while researching via Google)

    Hello,

When the copy-protect bit is set, copying is not possible.
